These photos were taken on a photography holiday taken in early June 2018 with Photograph Andalucia. I’m happy to recommend this tour to anyone who's interested, particularly beginner to intermediate photographers who are looking to learn new skills while enjoying a trip.
From being picked up at Malaga Airport to being dropped off back there a week later this was a really good experience. The holiday is based in the small town of Torrox which is within sight of the Mediterranean and claims to have the most pleasant climate in all of Europe. The photography holiday runs alongside a painting holiday, the guests share houses in Torrox and are well fed with meals in a variety of restaurants.
There were trips to various well chosen locations through the week along with the tutor Rob Bell. He gives chances to try various types of photography - landscape, street, architecture (inside and out) etc – and a themed challenge in Torrox which was way more fun than it sounds. The week ends with a dinner hosted by the company owners, Paul and Vicky, where everyone gets to show off their photos and paintings.
