On 6th January I braved the cold and crossed the snow covered Campsie Hills to Fintry for our local rugby derby, Strathendrick v Lenzie in West Division 2.
Both teams were obviously happy to be back in action after a long layoff and gave us an exciting game. The hosts had a strong first half and built a 20-3 lead. After the break there was a Lenzie comeback and they had reduced the lead to just one point before Strathendrick came through to win by 30-24.
