This competition wasn't decided until the last touch of the ball. East played West in the final fixture with the championship to be taken by the game winners. The South West team were watching on, guaranteed second place but hoping for an East/West draw which would have given them the championship on goal difference. In the end East won the fixture by 1-0 and took the trophy.
