This was a typical game from the opening weekend of a university season, the first half was a mess. Glasgow held a 7-0 lead at halftime, their touchdown coming after an HWU fumble much too close to their goal line. The second half was better as the Wolverines managed to connect with a couple of long passes. In the end both teams had two touchdowns but the Tigers took the game by 17-12 thanks to points from kicks.
